Closing up September along the coast, water temps are finally beginning to cool down inshore and the bite will continue to be great moving into Fall. The main species we target for Inshore trips continue to be Mangrove Snapper and Redfish. Lately we have been getting on the slot reds almost every trip in the bay and they should remain plentiful for a while! The next couple months are the prime time for targeting Redfish as they get ready for their spawning time they will be feeding more and more on the out going tide. The last week of September and first week of October is generally the best time to target the trophy sized ones as they are gorging themselves and majority of the fish will have huge full bellies. With the abundance of bait hanging around we are also catching a variety of other fish including Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Trout and Jack Crevalle.
